Susane is so thankful to be part of this production!!! Storytelling at its BEST! Written by Patrick Wilde and directed by Michael Matthews, the play features Melinda Augustina, Rick Cosnett, Kevin Fabian, Todd Gaebe, Matthew Henerson, Miles Heymann, AJ Jones, Susane Lee, Kelly Schumann, and Daniel Taylor! What’s Wrong With Angry? was written at a time in British history when the age of consent for homosexuals was 5 years older than heterosexuals. Legislation called Section 28 prohibited schools and local authorities from depicting homosexual relationships as an acceptable view of family life. While school was a setting for romance with Mr. Popular, John Westhead – girls want him…guys want to be him, Steven spent his life at home telling his parents what they wanted to hear. His fortunes take an unexpected turn when he discovers that his feelings for John are reciprocated; however what’s one to do when your family, school, and country tell you your love isn’t acceptable? In order to discover “it gets better”, sometimes you gotta get ANGRY!”

Sooooo exciting!!!!!! Will be shooting next week for SONY!!! A huge thank you to the casting director Laurie Records for once again bringing me in!!! And of course Sumer over at JLA Talent who was able to reschedule my callback time and because of that I ended up going in solo for a different role, the Hero Cheerleader role instead…which I ended up booking! ROCK ON!!!! How crazy that it all worked out that way!!! LOVE IT!!! GO TEAM GO!!!!! XOXOX!!!!

Susane at the ITV Festival Awards Show!

The 2011 ITV Festival Awards show took place on Friday, August 12th at the Hotel Renaissance in Hollywood! It was such an honor to be nominated for Best Actress for Comedy for Kosher Pig! Eric T. Patton, nominated for Best Director for Kosher Pig, and I await alongside Marilyn Monroe hahaha to speak to the press! I even donned a dress for the special occasion! Only when pigs fly right?! And Kosher Pig is flyin’ high! This red carpet event was quite an experience! Got a taste of what it’s like havin’ cams everywhere!

Here we are sitting at the Knight Rider table with Moon Cho, the creator of Kosher Pig! Although we didn’t take home any awards that night, it was a memorable evening! Congrats to all the nominees and winners!!! Much love and thanks to the ITV Festival for screening Kosher Pig!!! XOXOX!!!
